It took me a while to get into this however once I had hit the 75 page mark I was unable to put it down. It was such an interesting concept for a Sci-fi which I personally had not read before and I think this was the thing that hooked me. I enjoyed that author had diverse and dynamic characters which were adapting to the storyline and not the other way round. This meant that during the 'investigation' scene things flowed better and made the whole thing so much more enjoyable to read. I can not wait to read the sequel.
