4/5 stars. Audio book. What more can be said about The Silence of the Lambs? It is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I have never read the book. It is one of the few cases where the book and the movie are very similar. In fact, the dialogue between Dr. Lecter and Clarice were almost verbatim. The writing is so solid, succinct, and intense. Clarice is not only a compelling protagonist, bur she is vulnerable, as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the audio book, and the narrator did an incredible job. I am so glad that I finally got around to consuming this book and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the movie and would like to experience the book.
