I could go on about this novel for ever.

This has immediately cemented a place in my top 10 books of all time. It is such an interesting depiction of the prison industrial system, and although it’s satirical and hyperbolic, it’s scary just how many traits are shared between the story and real life.

The author does an incredible job of portraying these dark, violent, and straight up unlikeable, characters in a way to garner the readers sympathy. The journey these characters take is truly like no other.

I also want to say that the audiobook is definitely worth it. The full cast did a great job at bringing the characters to life!
