Elizabeth the Queen: The Life of a Modern Monarch by Sally Bedell Smith

4.0

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I appreciated the history and learning the sense of duty that Elizabeth II has towards her crown.

I will say the worst part was learning about the complications of horse breeding. It was a little drawn out. But the explanation of decisions made early in her reign, the scandals, and how she valued people in all walks is strong.
