First, We Make the Beast Beautiful: A New Journey Through Anxiety by Sarah Wilson

4.0

It took me ages to read this book, not because it wasn't good. It was. But, because I felt like I could only read this book when I felt up to tackling my issues with anxiety. The book is really about the author's journey thru and with anxiety, but it had a way of forcing me to focus on my own anxieties as well. It made me look at how I was handling my anxiety in a new way, and has hopefully helped me to process it in a more appropriate way (for me).

If you deal with anxiety and just need the perspective of someone else who has been there, I recommend you give First, We Make the Beast Beautiful a try.
