A Thousand Mornings: Poems by Mary Oliver
5.0
"How perfect to be aboard a ship with maybe a hundred years still in my pocket, but it's late for all of us. And in truth, the only ship there is, is the ship we are all on, burning the world as we go."
i'm constantly filled with the urge to re-read mary oliver's poetry, and the box set this little book comes in is why. the way she writes about love and her hardships is nothing short of beautiful. i've never read poetry like hers. there is absolutely no one else in this whole entire world like mary oliver, and i adore her with my entire heart.
