This book worked really well as an audio book. I enjoyed that each character had a distinct voice. I really enjoyed this storyline, and as it is #1, I anticipate reading more about this group as they continue to come of age in a small town with small minds. The story did lag a little in some places, but not enough to distract me from finishing. I would like to see a little more diversity in the rest of the series- 4 queer boys finding themselves was an interesting concept, but the pairing off and cis-unity of it could be a deterrent in continued success.
