» PLOT «

Nova hates the Renegades and with vengeance on her mind, she plans to infiltrate them and take them down from the inside. Adrien, as a part of the Renegades, believes in justice and peace. As Nova's and Adrien's paths align, they each have secrets that threaten their growing relationship and the world around them.

I've recently discovered one of my favorite tropes is secret identities and a love square centering around those secret identities. And this book (as well as  the rest of the series) delivers on this fully.

That plot twist at the end though!

» READABILITY «

This book was slow to medium paced, but I absolutely devoured this book.

» CHARACTERS «

I absolutely love the two main characters, and while not all of the side characters are enjoyable or justified, the main characters really propel this book.

» WRITING «

Marissa Meyer's writing style has always pulled me in, and this book was by far one of the best.

» OVERALL «

I've always struggled with reviewing books I've loved, and honestly, this is no different.
