I’ve only read one other book by Sierra Simone (American Queen), but both books provided intense levels of smut and angst.

We have three intense characters:

*Mark, the famously morally gray kink club owner with a mysterious past

*Tristan, former soldier with severe PTSD who is hired on as Mark’s bodyguard

*Isolde, a gorgeous and affluent young woman who is quietly dangerous

“𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙠𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨?” 𝙄 𝙖𝙨𝙠. “𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙮-𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙?”

“𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨,” 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙨. 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢. “𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪?”

I’m not going to say too much because it’s too hard to avoid spoilers, but I will note this:

Sierra Simone somehow combines intense eroticism with a beautifully plotted story in a way that is sweeping and angsty and full of sizzling chemistry.

There is quite the cliffhanger, and I want to read the next book!

Overall, I would recommend this book for anyone who likes 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ spice combined with drama!
