I FREAKIN ADORED THIS BOOK. 4.5⭐️

The developing dynamic between Brendan and Piper was easily the best part of the book, and being able to see Piper grow up was beautiful. I loved that Brendan kind of kept her in check and didn’t let her keep everything in, but his stubbornness also was so frustrating at times. I do see their love in the everyday things, and in the big moments too, and I feel like that’s something that doesn’t always get translated - but it DID!!

Aside from the obvious romance, I adore the side characters and the setting so much. Tessa Bailey really makes you feel like you’re there with both the visuals and the scents - take me to Westport nOw!

Also, I definitely loved the smut but gaahdaNNgggg did it happen SO aggressively lol. Loved this book, and I’m so excited for book 2!
