Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon

WHEW this was GOOD!
I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing the entire time. Yes, there were some EXTREMELY difficult parts to get through in terms of my heart HURT hearing how these characters speak, hearing the depictions of depression and antisemitism, and heartbreak with family. This is an EMOTIONAL book, so be prepared!
But the phases of this book were my favorite parts as well as my pain points. I loved how each phase felt extremely immersive, but it was simply that - a phase. While there was great development, it didn’t feel like a smooth transition at times.
I really do think this was a gem though through and through. Characters were extremely lovable, moments felt relatable (though infrequent), and I really enjoyed my experience with them!
