I feel like I struggle with a lot of the same things Maddie does, and the book shows where Maddie can take responsibility & take charge of her own life which is a lesson I feel I can apply to my own life. The beginning had me laughing out loud & the ending had me sobbing. For me it was a book that encompassed all the aspects that make humanity so bittersweet.
