Such a good story.  The characters are all well detailed and loveable (minus a few of the bullies, who can take a long walk off a short pier).

It is a fast paced romance that somehow works quite nicely and then a medium paced plot.  The only negative thing is that some of the flashbacks can be a bit stiff, but even so they give a look into that characters history.

There are several side ships that are as loveable as the main ship.  All are healthy relationships with great dynamics.  The humor is also quite nice, I forgot how funny it was.  Kay winning the metal for that with all his /totally/ true stories.  Overall still a great read no matter how many times I've read it.
