A Taste of Whiskey: Sasha Whiskey by Melissa Foster
5.0
“A Taste of Whiskey” by Melissa Foster was Ezra Moore and Sasha Whiskey’s story, and let’s just say that it is a book I’ve been anticipating for a long time!
In the previous The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch novels, I could sense the fiery and intense chemistry between Ezra and Sasha even though they weren’t the main characters.
I had high hopes for their book, and Melissa Foster definitely didn’t disappoint! Ezra and Sasha’s forbidden workplace romance was utterly swoony and deliciously spicy, and I loved every second of it.
Ezra was such a perfect example of the reformed bad boy trope, and he was the most amazingly caring dad to his young son, Gus.
He was also growly and possessive when it came to Sasha, and even before their romance officially began, it was obvious that she was the only woman on his mind.
And Sasha! She was such a fun, smart, and sassy heroine, and I loved that she was willing to fight for what she wanted - and what she wanted was Ezra. She had such fire and passion in her, and that’s part of why I loved this book so much.
I also loved the relationship she had with Gus, Ezra’s son. They adored each other, and in a lot of ways, she was more of a mother to him than his biological mom, even when Ezra and Sasha were just friends. I highly recommend this book to fans of the forbidden and/or workplace trope!
