This 6th installment of the Ruthless Kings series is far and away the BEST of the series! It was also by far one of the best MC books I have EVER read. Pirate and Sunnie meet under quite unusual circumstances...in rehab. They've each been battling their own demons for too many years and find something in each other that helps them see purpose in their futures. I'm all for a slow burn romance, and while it's done in a somewhat unusual and darker manner here, that's essentially what this is. The friendship and then relationship that develops between Pirate and Sunnie is tense, then intense, then it becomes something you just want more and more of. I loved the emotional rawness of this book and these main characters. As always, the author's writing is superb and clean. I'm looking forward to see what she brings next in Doc's book!
