Last year I noticed an amazing book -Inked- with this artwork that caught my eye and kept it there. Even with a cobra on the cover I had to read the description. Well, here we are, at a breakneck pace at the end of the fourth book. Talia and Zayn's story traveled all over the place - realms. In a span of a week Talia Judith Kestenbaum went from normal human, just crushing on her insanely gorgeous boss, Zayn, in his tattoo parlor, to the Queen of the Summer Palace because of her Gold "Gilded" Blood and fighting a helacious battle against Notorious Bad Succubus, Sol, who also happens to be Zayn's father.

I adore Synced. It was everything I've waited for since we've left the characters off at the end of Linked. It was a hard fought battle with me gasping for air, crying, laughing, and reading with my breath held because it was so intense.

This series has been so worth it. Rachel Rener's worldbuilding in this series is exquisite and thorough. The humor throughout is charming and real. And the authenticity of the Jewish culture sprinkled throughout makes me want to plotz with my old roommate Valerie and have her homemade Matzaball soup.

Talia, in the span of a week, grows so much and learns to have faith in her innate abilities - her blood. Zayn has learned he is not just an unlovable demon who can only make his victims feel like they desire him. He is a person, while and worthy of being loved. Please don't even get me started on Biscuit and Marvos.

Synced is best enjoyed with a box of tissues and snacks.
