The Kremlin's Candidate by Jason Matthews

4.0

I found the opening of this book slow-going but after that I was really engrossed in the story. As ever, the violence was a little too much to take, and it irritated me that Grace Gao was such a stereotype (an inscrutable Chinese beauty with hidden secrets, ugh). But I enjoyed the series overall and was curious to see how the ending would play out.
