Bang by Barry Lyga
5.0
This was one of the most powerful, emotionally impactful stories I've read in ages. It brought chills to my arms and tears to my eyes. Made me speechless. An incredible story.
The characters are insanely well-developed. The grief process in Sebastian's household is believable and painful and tangible. His friends are flawed and strong and realistic. They make me wish they were my friends too.
Having lost a friend to suicide that was the result of an easily accessible gun, I felt each word in Bang deep to my veins. Everyone should read this book.
