A terrible waste of time. Boring story and awful storytelling are bad enough but add underdeveloped and uninteresting characters and the result is a mess of a novel. I am not even sure what the author's intent was when he wrote this.

When reading translations I tend to ask myself who's responsible for my enjoyment, or dislike, of said work: author or translator(s)? This time it didn't even matter, this was so bad.
