Mysteries of Thorn Manor by Margaret Rogerson
5.0
I'm usually not a fan of add-ons to standalones since there's always the fear they'll ruin my favorite books lol but Mysteries of Thorn Manor was such a lovely addition to the Sorcery of Thorns universe!
It was a pleasure being back into this world again. Rogerson did a fantastic job at capturing my attention right from the very beginning and giving me things I didn't know I wanted. The writing here was so easy to get into and Elisabeth's perspective was wonderful as always.
I didn't expect this to actually have... a plot? I thought it was going to be more vibes than anything else, so I was pleasantly surprised with the direction the story took. It worked well to develop Elisabeth and Nathaniel's relationship even more as well as add more to the world-building.
And Silas! My favorite, my love, my boy. <3
The ending was also super sweet and a little unexpected in the ways of Felix and the Epilogue, but only in very positive ways. I would actually love to read more novellas in this world--especially if they involve Silas :D
