Death Note, Vol. 1: Boredom by Takeshi Obata, Tsugumi Ohba
5.0
OBVIOUSLY OBVIOUSLY A 5 STAR BOOK!!
Okay so here's a little back story about this Manga:
One of my friends and colleagues who is obsessed with Japan, told me she was going there for vacation and asked me if I wanted anything from there. I had watched the Anime before (Upon the encouragement of also a dear friend of mine) and was completely infatuated with this story that I NEEDED it in another format, so I told her that I'd be more than gleeful if she can get me the first volume of it, hence I couldn't find it in the libraries here (You would find ALL the volumes except the 1st) so SHE DID!! SHE DID!! and I was so thrilled that I was super careful that when I do read it, it must be the perfect time.. and oh jolly how I loved it! It's as good as the anime and they both complete one another, in my opinion.
I just can't adequately express how marvelous it is. Just read it. OK?
Forever a favorite and I can't wait to get my hands on the next volumes and to devour them whole.
