This story follows Comet Jo as he is tasked with delivering an mysterious message to Empire Star. This was a short book so I'll keep my words short. Many themes were touched on throughout this story. Comet Jo learns a lot about himself and a lot of what is happening in his world and universe that he wasn't originally privy too. Now with this knowledge he can't see going back to the "ignorance is bliss" life.
There were some passages that struck a cord with me because it made me think of experiences I've had being biracial. I want to read more from Delaney for sure! This was a great read of course.
