I've had this in my tbr pile for a while and finally got round to reading it. A good old romp through alternate towns sees our characters searching for books and having crazy adventures. Full of librarians, fae, werewolves and weird stuff, including a dragon. How can you not like a book that has such lines as ...

"I’m not stupid, young man – have your bodyguard fetch us both some more wine. Then we can discuss matters—’ And at that moment the alligators burst into the room."
