Considering this is the last book in the series, it wasn't at all how I expected it to be. It was a lot slower than I expected, and if it wasn't for the narrator of the audiobook doing an amazing job at bringing the story to life, I don't think I would have enjoyed this as much as I did. I really only cared about what was going on when we were following Ciri, Geralt, and Yennefer. And yeah, they're the main characters so obviously I care more about them than anyone else, but I shouldn't ONLY care about them. Maybe I was just expecting too much from this.
