A Winter's Night with Tempest by Michelle Mankin

5.0

This holiday novella brought me back to the Tempest world, primarily through War Jinkins' eyes. His struggles balancing stardom, being a husband to Shaina, and fatherhood, especially with twin daughters Peace and Harmony, felt so real. The teenage angst between War's daughter, Peace, and Bryan's son, Bo, added a gripping layer to the story. The band's holiday gathering at War's place, aiming to create a new album, was heartwarming and intense, especially with the rivalry against Brutal Strength. The emotional undercurrents and family dynamics have left me eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this rock saga.
