I thought this one was so sweet! And I loved the artwork that had spreads on spread that captured how much song and music means to this boy who is being torn between performing his love of singing in his new middle school choir or an opera (or both!?). He knows his incredible soprano voice won’t be his forever and he’s also very sensitive. His mom is so sweet though and he meets a new friend who is a very tall 12-year-old. There’s a tiny bit of language from the choir club sponsor, but I think this would work fine for middle school and up.
