12-year-old Blue loves all things nature, and she has always dreamed of joining her wildlife journalist mother & wildlife filmmaker father on their journeys around the world.
All she wants to do is save the planet, and when her parents surprise her with a year out of school and a trip to Australia, Blue’s biggest dreams are about to come true…
This was such a brilliant book!
I loved joining Blue on her adventures in Australia. Volunteering at the local wildlife hospital, gaining a huge social media following, saving koala bears, being caught in the middle of a bushfire and so much more - young nature lovers will absolutely devour this epic first instalment to a new middle grade series.
Jam-packed with fascinating facts about all the incredible Australian wildlife that Blue encounters on her trip! We get to meet Wombats, Wallabies, Kookaburras, Kangaroos, Snakes, Sugar Gliders, and of course Koala Bears!
Alongside the thrilling adventures are some very important climate messages. Highlighting how the climate crisis is affecting Australia’s wildlife & people, with bushfires worsening as temperatures rise and become increasingly difficult to manage.
This is such a clever idea for a book series. I can’t wait to read the next book and see what area of the planet Blue will be saving next!
A big thank you to the publisher for sending over a review copy, I absolutely loved it!
