Where to begin singing the praises of this delightful book? The words are enchanting and descriptive, encouraging exploration and imagination. The illustrations are gorgeous and beautifully capture the effect of light sparkling in water of all sorts. The orientation change to simulate diving into the depths and the differing, but complementary, endpapers are particularly effective. Diversity in race and body type is present throughout.
