This might be the best of the three. I didn't want to rush through this book, I planned on reading about 25 pages a day :) but i just kept turning page after page and if I had the time to read it all in one day I would. I'm not sure if it's because I read it at the right time or if it's actually better than the first two.
It's a beautiful and heartwarming conclusion to the series. It's not by any means a perfect book but there's just one thing that didn't make sense. When Jude punished Madoc and exiled him to the mortal world, why did she only forbid him from holding a weapon? He can still glamour and do many terrifying things to humans without weapons. I know he's a war enthusiast but he loves power as well, he could still attain it in the mortal world without a sword and blade.
The Ghost's character is interesting and I liked his story, however brief it was. Being completely controlled and blamed for things you never wanted to do is horrible. In The Wicked King I thought he was suspicious from the start and wasn't surprised when he betrayed them. I hated him a lot. To find out he was just a slave to Balekin and Locke is both shocking and sad. Speaking of Locke, I started liking Taryn after she killed him. Best thing she ever did.

A nice series overall, but not the best I've read.
