This book was not the greatest. In fact, it was actually kind of a disappointing follow up, if I'm being honest. While the book and writing overall were still good, what I loved about the first book - the main characters and their delicious romances - just weren't as great as it was in the first book. And while I understand why, with the plot being them separated by her kidnapping, once they were back together again, it still felt like something was lacking. I also felt like the battle that was had just completely dragged, which was unfortunate.
