This made for a very quick read because I was dying to get answers. Unfortunately, it felt like a lot of buildup for a blink-and-you'll-miss-it ending. There was also a moment where it felt like it was supposed to be a twist, or at least a mild surprise, but seemed pretty obvious. I guess the whole "Why?' of the entire story felt lacking. I just finished this and can't remember the exact explanation because it was kinda lame. A great story up until around 80% (at least a solid 4* imo), then it just fizzled. Ben was a good character, though. Read this for Ben.
