This series keeps on improving with each new book, and this one is no exception, as it covers the lead into the Uncrowned King Tournament, as well as the stages of the competition, which are a series of no-holds-barred contests testing the mental, physical and spiritual skills, and power, of the individual sacred artists.
This is almost non-stop action from start to finish, that still weaves in plenty of wonderful character interaction and humour. There are also a few twists in the plot that work perfectly and just rank up the tension within the story.
