The romance was cute. I love childhood friends to lovers. The mystery aspect was a bit hard to get through, and I wish it was a bit more intriguing, since it took up so much of the story.

Still, I plan to read the other books. I am definitely interested in Rachel’s story and Roxburgh’s ( I live for a good rake that folds because of love).

Also… I would seriously like to see the love story between the Deveraux kids and the Daventry kids.
