The first book in a promising series, it was a great cozy mystery. The characters, both living and dead, were quirky and fun. The location of the Pacific Northwest added to the charm. And unlike some, the whodunit of the story was not who I expected. I look forward to many new books in this series, to meeting more of the residents of quaint Port Chatham, past and present.
