omg.
I f*cking hated this so much.

I'm still in shock and completely baffled that this utterly boring book became the funny, warm, delightful movie I have seen hundreds of times, that is one of my favourite comfort films, that I can quote every line...

This book has been on my TBR for years under the assumption that "the book is always better". Not this time. Not even close.

I don't even recognise Elle's character in the book, she is immensely unlikeable.

My appreciation for the screenwriters of the movie has multiplied infinitely. The sheer volume of changes they made is astounding and I bow down to their talent and am eternally grateful.

ps. Reece Witherspoon forever!
