This book was so bad. Once again if I wasn’t doing the audio I would have DNF’d it. I remember when it came out people kept talking about this book and how it was funny. I don’t think I once laughed, occasionally I felt offended. The guys in this book were so weird and not in a good way. And there were some scenes where it felt like the characters sweared every other word, I don’t mind swearing but it was a lot.
Honestly I felt bad for Rachel cause not only does she have cancer but she’s hanging out with these two cause Greg’s mom kind of coerced him into it. She genuinely seemed to not mind them most of the time. And I’ll give it to Earl, he did make an attempt to know her and actually thought she was pretty cool and had good things to say about her. Greg on the other hand couldn’t come up with one nice thing to say about her in their movie they made for her and then he’d always make it weird when he went to see her. I get it grief comes in different ways but I feel like there’s a point where you notice your behavior is too much.
