this book was sooooo good. i almost put it straight into my all time favs. i just loved it. a great book should make you feel the way this book made me feel. i actually wish more books were like this, more about two people in a relationship facing challenges together instead of them spending the whole book trying to get together. this was just perfect. i have heard that this book didn’t take politics seriously enough but i feel like it did a decent job. casey mcquinston is clearly so smart and witty. they know so much about politics, history, and how to craft a story. this slapped so hard. at first, it was hard to keep up with all the characters but i got it eventually. i could go on about this book forever. my favorite part was easily the EMAILS. the quotes at the end of the emails killed me. im obsessed with this book and i will never recover
