This is the first book in the Rough & Ready Country Series as well as my first book by Engrid Eaves and I thought it was a very enjoyable instalove standalone novella with interesting characters and a good plot. This book is about Alex and Maksim and I enjoyed getting to know the two of them and thought the epilogue was a good way of wrapping up their story. The next book in the series Love at First Campfire: A Curvy Girl / Mountain Man Romance is about Maksim’s brother Logan and Alex’s best friend Jess.
