Such a solid historical romance wow. Didn’t really know what I was signing up for but had heard good things about the show and wanted to read before watching.

Plenty of plot lines stuffed into one long book. I feel like I’ve been with these characters forever, although the book takes place over an entire year so that’s probably fair??

Took me probably 1/3 of the book to really get momentum and I feel like I’ll be hooked on the series for the long run.
