The Proposal meets It Happened One Summer with a son of swoon-worthy momentsโฆ
๐ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: The Catch by Amy Lea
๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐: The Influencer Series. Book 3.
๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐: E-book on Kindle, courtesy of Libby.
๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฟ๐ฒ: Contemporary Romance
๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐: Small town / city girl, opposites attract, all of the banter, fake engagement, insta-love, enemies-to-lovers.
๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ป๐ผ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐: Melanie travels to Nova Scotia for an influencer trip, but a mistake leaves her with no place to stay. Her only hope is a room at an old B and B, and sheโll have to deal with the grumpy owner, Evan.
๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐: I wasnโt sure I was going to like this book. Iโm a frugal girly, so I give trad-published books a little bit extra scrutinyโฆ and this one stood up to it.
I was skeptical because it seemed a little too much like Tessa Baileyโs It Happened One Summer, but the more that I read the more I fell in love. Melanie and Evan are two great, multifaceted characters. They are easy to fall for.
Once I got to the 50% mark in this one, I couldnโt put it down. Iโm excited to pick up the others in the series - rest assured, this can be read as a standalone, because I had no idea it was even in a seriesโฆ woops!
