The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

i'm so confused. i didn't feel this was wrapped up nicely at all - maybe because i expected there to be another turn, as there is an hour long interview with the author at the end of the audiobook, which i didn't remember. so bogdan killed turkish whoever (because he killed bogdan's friend because bogdan's friend saw tony killign someone) and then framed him when he murdered tony, and john killed ian because penny killed peter because he killed his girlfriend, and the father who's actually a doctor didn't kill anyone but his nun girlfriend commited suicide. and john killed penny because it's apparently the right thing and he also killed a farmer once and then he puts the syringe to himself. and bernhard commits suicide because he did the wrong thing with his wife's ashes - i don't know, seems like too much. too many kills, too many turns, too many characters. wild, but also not satisfying at all, somehow. and i just don't know about people killing other people out of pity without them asking for it and the novel framing suicide as a good way out of everything. some of the characters were very nice, like ibrahim and of course joyce and ron, somehow, but... i just don't know.
