I cannot believe these characters are in college. Their actions are equivalent to people in high school. 

My first complaint is the supposed love Ethan and Sloane have. They did not have one genuine conversation and definitely did not hang out enough for them to even like each other. 

And then to have Sloane’s whole character rely on an imaginary love was embarrassing and annoying. There was no plot, it was just her pining over a guy who did not show any interest at all. 

This book had poor transitions, it jumped from thing to thing so quickly. It was so frustrating because we couldn’t connect to any characters. 

I also felt this book was just poorly written and many of the “deep” quotes I read on Tik Tok, word for word.
