And Then There Were None and Selected Plays by Agatha Christie

5.0

Now I am always the one to savour a good, old fashioned murder mystery. "And Then There Were None" is an eerie take on the nursery rhyme "ten little soldiers" which ingeniously foreshadows the methods used for each of the ten murder. Eight people lured by a mysterious benefactor, U.N Owen, under some pretext to spend the time of their lives on a barren, isolated island, now that's the stuff of mystery, murder and mayhem. This book by Agatha Christie remains my all time favourite mystery novel that will keep you second guessing who the killer is till the dreadful revelation at the very end. This is closely followed by The Body in the Library as another of my favourite Christie mystery.
