❝why settle for being a son of the system, when you can mother a movement?❞

romina garber took my heart and ripped it right out of my chest, and i let her. Lobizona was so lovely in terms of writing about wild girls who have gone through it and don't quite make it out whole, but they make it out.

the favorite parts:

*sAySa
*bIBi
*the world-building was immaculate and i never felt lost while reading which can kind of be a hit or miss
*she explained things as you read but not in a way that felt like an information overload
*the descriptions had me deceased

not so favorite parts:

*the writing could feel pinterest-y at times with like these weird inspirational lines in the middle of her having like a breakdown?? like she'd be like omg !! my happy ending could be in every day !! + i was like girl ur gonna get killed pls do not
*it did slow down at times that made the writing stumble a bit and then pick up
* um
Spoiler the reveal of her father was so wack and i was like okayyy,,,,

*carlos ??

all in all, this was such a good read + i loved it ! go read it !!

❝instead of begging them to let me go, i hear myself begging them to let me stay.❞
