honestly i won't stop thinking about this. this is so poetic, beautiful and serene. those descriptors make it seem as if it's a ghibli movie but it isn't - it's about suicide and the response of a beloved friend to that. friend? beloved? beloved friend? the homoromantic aspects are yours to discern. i love both of them, i love the strange man with the strange shaggy hair, i love everything about this. it's not a happy manga, but it's not exactly tragic either - it's about the response of the person left behind, and the person who did the leaving, and it's done without judgement, and unfailingly without error. it's stark. the mangaka said she was using her own experiences to create this, and as such nothing here is something that she has not encountered. i don't know what to make of that, but it does make everything all the more poignant. idk. what do i feel about this? i feel so much. it's beautiful. it's serene. it's sad. it's something. i wish i could own it. why are shipping charges to india always so fucking big?
