Bonfire by Krysten Ritter

4.0

I am pleasantly surprised by this book. Kristen's time as Jessica Jones seems to have influenced the character of Abby in this book, the protagonist, as I read it I completely imagine Abby as Krysten Ritter. The character is so similar its uncanny.
That aside, I enjoyed reading this. The pacing was quite good and I never felt like it was too slow. Although, there are paragraphs on law and environmental jargon that just went right over my head, I found myself skim reading these parts.
For a debut novel this is pretty solid and delightfully dark, I hope Krysten writes more books for me to add to my shelf!
