I'm not really into sci fi, but I decided to take this one on before I sunk into Blake Crouch (for book club, not my own choosing). 

I really liked how this one started out. Sam has to go to the biotech company Vitek after his wife Annie has created three different prototypes (or "contours") of their future child Daniel. Sam gets to see these three different videos. I was intrigued where the story was going to go, but then Sam goes to a bar and I didn't really understand that part and how it related to the first part of the story. But I'm sure it does relate. 

Because I didn't "get" the second half of the story (which is obviously a "me" problem but inhibited my enjoyment nonetheless), I'm giving this one 3 stars.
