“We are all one people. None of us is alone.”
another great book in the red rising saga, made me cry and scream with rage at the same time, great job pierce now I'm emotionally destroyed.
I actually finished the book july 30th but I'm writing this july 31st because I.. I finished the book at night and I just couldn't form any logical thought. I felt drained, so drained I wasn't in the best place to write a review lol.
no but once again, pierce brown writes fucking rollercoasters of emotion.
I loved every single chapter, and all the plotwists too, it seems as if a second of peace it's a lot to ask for huh.
shot out to lyria! she's amazing and one of my favorite characters, she truly warmed up to me and in this book just shined!
darrow and sevro!!! them !!! just them !! their friendship has survived so many things and I'm so glad to be able to read how deep that bond runs, they are truly brothers.
cassius was one character I was very surprised to read, his development and evolution is truly something else.
you know YOU KNOW WHY I'm giving this 4.5 stars and not 5, I just can't I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TRULY DID THAT
also, it's because somehow the book, at times, felt.. so.much longer than it needed it to be. it felt stucked and I had an awful sensation nothing was happening. but leaving that aside I really loved the book.
lysander.. doesn't matter how much I dislike him, is truly one hell of an antagonist and such a complex character, I mean despite he's the base of so many bad things happening I can appreciate reading him, it's something different altogether.
anyway, can't believe it's only one more book until the end, I need it but I don't want it.
