Eww
I really enjoyed this whole series. Zoe and Tatum were so smart and tenacious. I loved the way they methodically solved the crimes in each book. The new villain was like a ticking bomb. I felt like I was holding my breath waiting for him to explode. Surprisingly, I was able to guess that he was the villain as soon as his character was introduced. His connection to Zoe’s tormentor was an interesting twist. I was a little disappointed that he was still on the loose. It doesn’t make sense for Zoe to be such a prolific investigator, but she can’t capture this man that has been terrorizing her for decades. I was also thrown off by the blood thirst element. It was so wacky. I enjoyed the previous books in the a little more, but this was still a solid read.
