The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang

4.0

I have many feelings.

This was my first audio book so I feel like I missed some things because my ability to focus on words hear rather than seen is incredibly lacking, but I do know every single character in this book is either a selfish asshole, supports colorursm or both. Rather disappointing that not even one could manage basically human decency, but I do understand "morally grey" entails not being intended to be liked. Plus I liked the plot, word building, and general layout of politics.

I highly recommend finding trigger warnings prior to reading this book.
